Luftwaffe radio operator air gunner badge cased – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early war tombac A2 design wreath and riveted A2 design eagle. Remains in perfect unworn condition with minty appearance and no patina on the silver frosting. The eagle retained the beautiful blue/grey finish perfectly. Very uncommon early example that features the question mark style catch. Comes with matching early case in stunning mint condition. Showing the full Bordfunkerabz. (Flieger-Schützenabz.) script in gold lettering on top. Inside remains clean and in equally fine condition. Top set with early Juncker/Assmann case.
