Luftwaffe pilot badge – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war heavy Nickel silver pilot badge with burnished eagle and frosted wreath with polished highlights. Maker marked GWL on the reverse of the eagle. Remains in near mint condition with perfect finish on the front and burnishing on the eagle. The back shows a name nicely scratched into the badge: Lnt. Malzner. Most likely barely worn and left at home. Very difficult to upgrade awarded near mint example!
