Luftwaffe pilot badge – Egg Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid. Pre war Egg shaped wreath A1 design pilot badge with A1 riveted eagle. Remains in good worn condition with a beautiful wear pattern to both the silver plated tombac wreath and eagle. Has both rivets restored, but holds the original catch and hinge. The most sought after early pilot badge that when found sometimes has work done to the rivets. Nonetheless a very rare piece missing in most Luftwaffe collection.
