Luftwaffe paratrooper badge cased J1 – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Pre war flat wreath and flat eagle J1 design Juncker marked ‘Fallschirmschützenabzeichen’ with gilded finish on the riveted eagle and burnished wreath. Shows good wear to the front of the eagle and a very nice untouched look to the reverse. With most the gilding still present there. The Wreath shows a nice dark color and the eagle has most of the gilding worn down with some remnants still visible. There is a small crack that does not go all the way through near the left rivet, which is not uncommon for these badges. Comes with matching early style case in near perfect condition, only shows a few white discoloration spots on the front and bottom. The gold lettering is still perfectly preserved. Very uncommon J1 set that is extremely difficult to find.
