Luftwaffe paratrooper badge cased – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war tombac construction ‘Fallschirmschützenabzeichen’ with gilded riveted eagle and blackened silver plated wreath. Remains in stone mint condition with all the gilding and blackening on the wreath. Maker marked with the A logo on the reverse of the eagle. Comes with a matching case with perfect mint inside and early inlay. The outside shows some wear but overall remains in excellent condition. Top early para set!
