Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Zinc construction Fallschirmjäger badge with gilded eagle. The badge remains in lightly worn condition with nearly perfect gold finish on the eagle and typical dark looking wreath. Rivets remain tight and in tact with the setup being the earlier zinc type, revered to as the type E in the paratrooper book. Very well preserved example with light wear.
