Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early nickle silver wreath with riveted tombac eagle. Remains in well worn condition and has seen some action judging. Still shows some blueing on the back wreath and a small oxidation spot on the tail wing. Maker marked A on the reverse of the eagle for Assmann and shows thight rivets that were hammered down for more strength.
