Luftwaffe ground assault badge + case – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid. Zinc Erdkampfabzeichen with GWL design and makers mark on the back. Remains in very good condition with most of the fragile finish still present on the badge. Crimped eagle and integral setup are still fully intact. Comes with matching and extremely difficult to find GWL case that reads Erdkampf-Abz on top. Normally seen with light blue paper backing, however this case was upgraded with a soft cloth covering at some point in time. Everything is still present including the original inlay, just the paper hinge flap got damaged and was removed. Has better appeal than the original case, but is still slightly altered.
