Luftwaffe ground assault badge – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Erdkampfabzeichen’ with tombac silver plated eagle, copper coated base finish and silver plating on top. Remains in very lightly worn condition with an interestingly cut hinge plate and thick Juncker C catch. One side shows a factory repair, the finish goes over this repair and it is very cleanly done with the other side still showing a crack, which does not go all the way through. It is totally not uncommon for Juncker Erdkampf to have this factory repair.
Overall very good looking LW GAB with typical Juncker flaws.
