Luftwaffe combined pilot observer badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early war tombac wreath and eagle with silver plated finish and gilding on top. Remains in lightly worn condition with still excellent finish on the eagle and light patina on the wings. Remains tightly riveted to the gilded wreath that shows a few silver patina spots in the area`s the gilding was worn down. The swastika still shows some of the polishing with a slight dark patina over it. Very uncommon Luftwaffe ‘Gemeinsame Flugzeugführer- und Beobachterabzeichen’
