Luftwaffe air gunner radio operator badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early war tombac ROAG with silver plated eagle and wreath. Remains in nicely worn condition with a slight patina on the silver plated wreath and still nicely burnished eagle. Some of the frosting has been worn down and the eagle is maker marked with the Assmann logo on the reverse. Excellent example with tight rivets.
