Kriegsmarine minesweeper badge – Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen’ with gold finished wreath and silver finish waves and explosion. Remains in lightly worn condition with most of the gold finish still present and a nicely distributed black patina on the silver finish. Very uncommon example with Meybauer setup and design.
Difficult variant to find with a very appealing appearance.
