Kriegsmarine minesweeper badge – Ludwig Bertsch, Karlsruhe. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen’ with Aurich/Bertsch design and LB mark on the reverse for Ludwig Bertsch. Remains in stunning mint condition with all the finish present, shows full bright gold finish on the wreath and a silver finish on the explosion and waves. The reverse shows no finish as is often seen with zinc KM badges. Very difficult to find variant especially in this pristine condition.
