Kriegsmarine destroyer badge – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Early tombac ‘Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen’ with Schickle design and setup. Remains in worn condition and retained the silver plated finish nicely. The Gilded wreath shows a dark “gilding” and almost appears bronze in color and must have darkened over time. Very appealing Kriegsmarine badge with a great design.
