Knight’s cross of the iron cross – Micro 800 Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Fairly early ‘Ritterkreuz’ with micro 800 silver mark on the frame and no flaws to the die. Comes with war time 935 marked loop and ribbon. Remains in excellent condition with still fully black core and was most likely never worn in the field. Shows some slight spidering on the core which is very common for S&L KC. Frame has build up a slight patina but retained the the finish nicely and shows a still very bright beading on the frame, which gives good contrasted with the core and patinated edges. Premium example that has become very difficult to find.
