Iron cross second class – “Schinkel” Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Early three piece construction Ek2 with Meybauer Schinkel form frame and core. Remains in poorly stored condition with a greenish patina on the frame on all sides including the ring. The semi glossy finish black core remains in fairly good condition and retained nearly all of the black lacquer. Far more uncommon than the Deumer variants. Appealing cross in its own way.
