Iron cross first class – Walter & Henlein, Gablonz. Three piece construction Ek1 with black painted core and W&H frame. Very uncommon W&H production with the back frame having the anti rotation pin hole present. Most of the time encountered in ground dug condition from the the factory grounds, but seldom seen in good condition. This maker at move its location shortly after the war and had to start of in Neugablonz(Bayer) due to the Germans being expelled from these areas.
Top rare cross that is very difficult to find in this condition.
