Iron cross first class SB + case – L/54 Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid. ‘Eisernes Kreuz’ first class with semi gloss finished core and frosted frame. Remains in very good condition with only light wear to the front and a slight factory curve to the frame. The back shows a very nice and bright color on both the screw disc and frame. Maker marked with the L/54 in box mark on bottom. Comes with matching L/54 marked case that remains in average condition. Shows some wear and light damage on the corners as well as the original cloth hinge cover that was glued(repaired) back in. Even with the small repair a very uncommon matching set!.
