Iron cross first class – B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim. Early unmarked cross with semi gloss lacquer and flawed frame. Remains in worn condition and shows some surface rust and paint worn down on the core. These unmarked examples with different black finish and flaw line on the frame are also found very rarely with a L/50 mark on the pin or back frame. Uncommon cross!
