Iron cross 2nd class award certificate with picture. Ek2 ‘Urkunde’ too Obergrenadier Johann Palm 8./Gren.Rgt.490 09.12.1942 as part of the 269th Infanterie Division. Singed by Generalleutnant Kurt Badinski Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross on 11 October 1941 as Oberst and commander of Infanterie-Regiment 489, he surrendered to US forces in the Falaise pocket. Document is stamped with the 269th Inf.Div. stamp and has two small holes on the side. Picture was present with the document but has no name on the reverse.
