Iron cross 2nd class 1914 – Alois Rettenmaier, Schwäbisch-Gmünd. Extremely rare three piece construction 1940s produced cross with Rettenmaier design frame. Remains in excellent condition with a slight patina and near excellent looking core. The ring is rather small and could be replaced, but it hard to be sure. Only the 1st time I have come across this variant. True rarity!
