Iron cross 1st class – L/59 A. Rettenmaier, Schwäbisch Gmünd. Mid war cross with L/59 makers mark on the reverse, screw back setup and anti rotation pin. Remains in excellent lightly worn condition with some wear to the core and frame. Shows nearly all the black lacquer still present on the core and has a very appealing dark patina on the outer frame and still bright looking beading. Very esthetically pleasing worn cross, rarer variant.
