Iron cross 1st class 1914 – Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Three piece construction cross with two piece screwback. Frame and disc are nicely marked 800, the frame with the Meybauer coat of arms logo and the disc with the DRGM mark. The plate is marked with a 500 silver stamp. Remains in very good lightly worn condition with minimal patina on the front frame and nearly all the lacquer on the core present. More uncommon and very good quality Meybauer screwback cross.
