Infantry assault badge in silver – Pillow crimp. Late war solid zinc ‘Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’ with ‘glanzverzinkt finish’, Vienna design and crimped in setup. Remains in lightly worn condition with nearly all the silver finish still present. Excellent preserved example that was most likely produced for or by B.H. Mayer, other badges with this type of crimp have been found with L/18 marks in the past.
