Infantry assault badge in silver – ‘pillow crimp’

Infantry assault badge in silver – Vienna design ‘pillow crimp’. Late war zinc IAB with crimped in catch and hinge, slightly vaulted appearance.Remains in lightly worn condition with most of the silver chrome finish still present on the badge. These badges are possibly linked to B.H. Mayer due to some lot finds made in the past and similar crimped badges with the L/18 mark, this however remains unconfirmed. Good looking later IAB with quality finish.
