Infantry assault badge in silver – Paul Meybauer, Berlin (Vienna design!). Late war, heavy scooped out K98 Vienna design variant, attributed to Meybauer. Remains in excellent condition with almost perfect ‘glanzverzinkt’ finish remaining on the front and slightly migrated on the reverse. features the barrel hinge with soldered pin and and round catch plate with flat wire catch. Very hard to find variant especially in this condition!
