Infantry assault badge in silver – Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Early war hollow tombac 2nd pattern Paul Meybauer design ‘Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’ with very nicely cut out head and no cut out on the wing or swastika. Remains in good worn condition with most of the silver plating still present and a dark patina on the reverse, the front was most likely softly cleaned some time ago. Very good looking design and uncommon badge. Difficult to find, especially with such a good looking eagle.
