Infantry assault badge in silver – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid. Mid to late war zinc badge with integral catch and hinge. Remains in unworn and near mint condition with all the finish still present. Only shows a very light patina on some spots and the typical zinc bubbling seen on zinc badges by GWL with this type of finish. Extremely well preserved GWL that is normally found without any finish at all.
