Infantry assault badge – Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart

Infantry assault badge in silver – Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart. Zink construction with scooped out back and semi hollow appearance. The badge remains in worn condition with a good amount of its chrome silver finish remaining to the front and back. This marked Zimmermann variant features the round catch plate with flat wire catch and tonne hinge. Nicely worn mid to late war IAB, without damage or repairs.
