Infantry assault badge in silver – Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid. Late war slightly vaulted zinc badge with unique FLL style of hinge and catch crimping, maker marked FLL. Heavy badge in nicely worn condition, with a good part of the silver finish remaining. The badge shows some more wear on the K98 but overall remains bright and honest worn.
This badge was removed from the uniform at some point in time and still has the excessive amount of thread attached to the hinge and catch. Very durable, this does not come of easily and gives some character and appeal.
Catch and hinge remain undamaged.
