Infantry assault badge in silver – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Hollow zinc IAB with Assmann design and makers mark on the back of the K98 stock. Remains in worn condition and had all of its thin silver finish fade. Very common for this uncommon IAB to have no finish left.
Nevertheless an appealing and sought after IAB variant.
