Infantry assault badge in silver – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early war, slightly vaulted, hollow zinc IAB with Assmann design and makers mark on the back of the K98 stock. Lightly worn condition and all the finished faded. Very common for this type of silver wash to be completely gone. Uncommon Assmann IAB.
