Infantry assault badge in silver – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war hollow zinc ‘Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen’ with silver finish and Assmann makers mark on the reverse. Remains in lightly worn condition with faded silver finish and just some of the finish still visible. Uncommon hollow zinc Assmann and one of the few full holly badges that were actually maker marked.
