Infantry assault badge in silver – A. Rettenmaier, Schwäbisch Gmünd. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen’ with Rettenmaier design, setup and Glanzverzinkt finish. Remains in lightly worn condition with partially faded finish and a small surface oxidation spot near the wing. Very sharp detailed and good quality IAB.
