German cross in gold – Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Early post war variant of the DKIG with S&L design. Remains in excellent and near perfect condition with only one small spot on the white sun background. A variant that can also be found with the 4 PkZ code on the pin and was produced for collectors and veterans shortly after the war. Enamel cross remains nicely riveted to the cupal back plate and overall it shows no wear or patina. The next best thing to a war time original by one of the best war time producers.
