German cross in gold – Otto Klein, Hanau. Light weight variant made with Zimmermann parts by Otto klein, maker marked on the back with the Pkz number 134. Nicely worn cross with only some scratches to the enamel, no chips or pieces missing. The white/silver layer behind the swastika has been worn down partially and matches well to the worn look of the swastika. The outer parts of the wreath have retained the black/grey finish and show the 11 O`clock flaw as should be with a Zimmermann wreath. The back of the cross still has some of its bright silver finish present and shows a nicely worn back without damage or repairs. Overall a good worn DKIG with more uncommon maker mark.
Note: There is no heavy version of the Otto Klein cross.
