German cross in gold – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim

German cross in gold – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Mid to late war light weight version of the Zimmermann Deutsches Kreuz in Gold. Remains in lightly worn condition with all the black finish still on the wreath and most of the frosting still present on the back. The cross has retained its bright finish color nicely and only shows some light patina on the white backing behind the swastika. The swastika shows 1 or 2 scratches on the front and a little spot in the middle, overall very well preserved. Maker marked with the Pkz code 20 under the the pin.
