German cross in gold – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim

German cross in gold – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Early war heavy ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Gold’ with silver plated tombac back plate. Remains in well worn condition with a beautiful patina on wear pattern through out. Shows some scratches and wear on the swastika, but no big chips. The reverse is still nicely plated and the pin is marked with the PkZ mark 20 underneath. This is the later outer frame with the 11 O’clock flaw visible. Top worn cross that some some good action.
