German cross in gold – Deschler & Sohn, München. Early war 6 rivet short pin Deschler ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Gold’. Remains in well worn condition with heavy wear to the sunburst outer wreath. Good silver patina on the white backing behind the swastika and no chips or damage to the swastika. The outer wreath was touched up some solder, on two areas, during the war judging from the sloppy way this was done. Uncommon 6 rivet variant with lots of character, a piece that saw some real action during the war.
