General assault badge – ‘Flawed wing Vienna design’

General assault badge – Scooped out Vienna design ”Wilhelm Hobacher”. Solid zinc badge with scooped out grenade and bayonet. The badge is moderately worn but has held almost all of its finish. This silver chrome finish holds very well. This badge is attributed to Hobacher, but my recent study has showed that a different Vienna die was used to produce these. Because of the different die there is no solid proof these were indeed produced by Hobacher as well. The setup is however a perfect match and Hobacher is still a likely producer. No damage on repair on this very good looking and more uncommon GAB.
