General assault badge – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Early tombac Schickle design ‘Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen’ with early flat wire catch. Remains in lightly worn condition and has the thin silver finish on the right side partially worn down. A somewhat black and uncleaned patina at the right side, probably from wearing it next to another award. Earliest of the Schickle GAB and more uncommon than the machine milled C shaped catch variant.
