General assault badge – Karl Wurster, Markneukrichen. Early war solid tombac ‘Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen’ with type 2 Wurster design and small W mark.. Remains in well worn condition with most of the silver plating still present and a bent out of shape catch for better wear on the uniform. A truely untouched badge that must have seen lots of action. The only GAB to have been produced in Solid tombac and is therefore considered to be the highest quality made GAB. Very difficult to find Wurster GAB!
