General assault badge – Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Allegemeines Sturmabzeichen’ with silver chrome like ‘Burn lacquer’ and small W makers mark next to the hinge. Remains in lightly worn condition with some damage to the front talons and nearly all the finish remaining. Nicely preserved and marked GAB, with the variant sheet hinge setup.
