General assault badge in silver – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Early tombac GAB with machine milled C shaped Schickle ctatch. Remains in very good condition with nearly all the frosting remaining on the reverse and still a good amount on the front. Shows light wear and remains nearly fully silver plated. The head is slightly tilted forward.
This example was painted with a thick gold finish on the front at some point in time and was cleaned with aceton by me. Underneath was a still very good looking piece, however little remnants of the gold paint remain. As I prefer not to polish the badge in anyway it will be sold with these small specs still present.
