General assault badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war hollow steel construction ‘Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen’ with Assmann design and makers mark on the reverse. Remains in perfect mint condition with all finish present and no wear. Very sought after GAB and the only GAB produced in steel. This being the second type with both the cuts next to the swastika.
