Early infantry assault badge – Steinhauer & Lück

Infantry assault badge in silver – Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Early hollow tombac badge with unique S&L design and directly soldered catch and hinge. The badges remains in well worn condition as is normally the case with the early S&L badges. The silver finish has worn down due to heavy wear giving this badge a great appeal. No real damage or repairs.
One of the most difficult to find early IAB and very sought after by collectors. Attractive piece and it feels justified calling this a rare badge.
