Combined Pilot-Observer badge – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Early J1 design aluminium production with Juncker mark on the reverse. Remain in lightly worn condition with nearly perfect gilding remaining and minimale wear to the front. The always fragile catch broke off and was periodically replaced with thick wire. Over 75% of these alu j1 have broken catches with often crude repairs. This example has no holes drilled in it and is only missing the original catch. The pin is bent backwards so it could be worn.
