Close combat clasp in bronze – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Second pattern zinc Juncker spange with reserve die “A”. Remains in well worn condition and het kept most of the Bronze(almost gold looking in some cases) finish. The back plate is nicely crimped and is still very tight. Some was vaseline was used on this spange at some point in time to help preserve it better and a small crack in the bayonet tip is present, most likely from from production or field wear. Cracks are a rather common sight on Juncker products. Top ‘Nahkampfspange’ with the nicely preserved finish and heavily worn look.
