Blue case for the iron cross first class

Early blue case for the iron cross first class. Good quality wooden construction with blue covering. Remains in used condition and shows wear on the outside with the top and sides being in well preserved condition. The inlay remains clean and some vague writing on the inside. Very uncommon and sought after case, often found with Klein & Quenzer crosses, but fits a variety of different early Ek1.
