Award request LW bomber clasp silver

Award request for a Bomber clasp in silver to Leutnant and pilot Dietrich Hauer of the 3./Kampfgeschwarder 76 . ‘Antrag’ for the ‘Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in silber’ singed by the units captain. Awarded for 60th mission on the 17th of May 1942. Hauer was awarded the Bronze Bomber clasp on 20.10.41.
Kampffgeschwader 76 was deployed on nearly all battlefields during ww2, starting the war in Poland and ending the war on the western front. During the award date the unit flew missions for the second battle of Kharkov and Hauer was most likely involved in these missions.
The A4 document remains in very good condition and was only vaulted horizontally in three places.
